Lately investors have been going through our dinner photos asking for deal intros. Watching our founders progress from these meetings, I can’t help to think…
I’m a founder and angel investor – no matter how big my check is, I try to be the most valuable because at heart I’m a founder.
I know what it’s like to give up a fancy title at a top company and start something on your own.
I know the grind of creating something out of nothing.
I know the feeling of giving up everything to chase your dreams and change something for the better.
We just finished dinner tonight and already started planning the next one.
Not sure if I can live up to this hype, but I’ll keep trying.
The thing is – once you’ve been sitting in front of your laptop at 3am questioning everything, once you’ve bet it all on an idea everyone called crazy, you never stop recognizing that fire in other people.
That’s what makes these dinners different. It’s not networking. It’s founders finding founders.
