#109 Moritz Baier-Lentz is a Partner at BITKRAFT, the world’s most active VC firm and lead investor in the gaming industry with over $800 million in assets under management and more than 100 portfolio companies. Some of their portfolios include Epic Games (the creators of Fortnite and Rocket League), Horizon Blockchain Games (co-investors including co-founder of Reddit, Coinbase, Polychain Capital, and Consensys, among others), and Theorycraft Games (a game studio by former C-Level executives of League of Legends, Halo, and Destiny). He also serves as a board director for TRIPP, Lightforge Games, and Inworld AI, among others. Prior to BITKRAFT, Moritz was s VP at Goldman Sachs, where he founded and led the firm’s global gaming practice. He also worked as a data scientist and engagement manager at IBM. He is a founding member of the “Defining and Building the Metaverse” Initiative at the World Economic Forum. He was also featured on Forbes 30 Under 30 and Business Insider’s Rising Stars Age 35 and Under.
